Bring your family out to the 2018 Festival of Flavor, taking place outdoors in downtown Foley from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6! Walking the streets of Alston and Orange that form the crossroads to the festival grounds, you can sample from a variety of retailers. The Back Forty Beer Company and Pinnacle Imports will supply craft brews and wine, and you can enjoy high-quality food samples and dishes being served by competing chefs, local restaurants, mom and pops, food trucks and more.
All ticket sales come with unlimited food samples! Food and beer samples will run from noon to four with a competition at 4:30. At that time, awards will be given for the Festival’s People’s Choice picks. As an official qualifying event for the World Food Championship, the coveted World Food Championship Golden Ticket Award will be awarded. The crowned chef then competes in the 2018 World Food Championships later this year at The Wharf in Orange Beach for an overall prize purse of $300,000.
At the Festival of Flavor, it’s all about family fun. Everyone can enjoy the 2018 vendors and chefs, including displays for retail and arts & crafts, plus a giant sand box for the kids! Children 6-12 can get in and eat all day for only $10. Adult tickets are just $20, and they include 4 beer/wine samples to help wash down all that delicious food!
Televisions large & small will be set up throughout the festival grounds streaming the all-day SEC football games, and if you prefer a more private experience, you can get access to the VIP lounge outfitted with TVs. VIP tickets also come with three full-sized adult beverages, so you can sip on your drink without frequent fill-ups and risk missing any of the action.
