Apollo's Mystic Ladies was founded in 2000 as a Daphne Mardi Gras group for ladies. The mission was to bring friendship, fellowship, and revelry to the city of Daphne in the true Mardi Gras spirit.

The group parades in Daphne on Joe Cain Day. Out of respect for the Joe Cain Procession, the LOFT begins its parade one minute earlier, at 2:29 p.m.
