Get ready for a splash-tacular event at the RMHC Rubber Ducky Regatta, featuring exciting activities, games, delicious food, and the main event—the thrilling rubber duck race across Lake OWA! On March 22nd, watch as thousands of ducks paddle to the finish line, with the first three winning grand prizes for their adopters. Beyond the fun, this event supports Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile, which provides vital support for families with seriously ill or injured children. Schedule of Events
• 10:00 am – 5:00 pm: Join us for the Jeep Car Show in Downtown OWA! Registration is $5 and includes a duck in the race. Pre-register online or sign up in person from 10am to 11am. Cash prize for the winner!
• 11:00 am – 3:00 pm: Purchase your Ducks and Raffle Tickets from the RMHC tent located at the Sweet Tooth Alcove & OWA Island for a chance to win great prices. Check out the prices above!
• 11:00 am—4:00 pm: FREE activities throughout Downtown OWA with a chance to win prizes with exciting activities, including Face Painting, a Scavenger Hunt, OWA Island games, Train Rides, and more!
• 11:00 am – 5:00 pm: Children’s Bounce House. Enjoy unlimited access to a field of bounce houses with a $10 wristband. Buy 3 wristbands, get 1 free! Proceeds benefit RHMC. Let the kids jump and have a blast while supporting a great cause!
• 11:00 am – 5:00 pm: A live DJ on OWA Island will broadcast high energy beats.
• 12:00 pm; 1:30 pm; 3:00 pm: Learn and taste at a FREE cooking demonstration with Chef Tracey Knight on the festival field sponsored by Towne Tap. Three (3) unique sessions will be featured on how to make simple and delicious meals.
• 1:00 pm; 2:00 pm: House vs. House. Join the crowd to watch two teams battle it out for the coveted golden duck trophy. This family feud style show will feature two rounds throughout the day at the stage by Starbucks. What house will you be cheering for?
• 4:00 pm: The Rubber Ducky Regatta begins! Grab your duck numbers, duck quackers and race flags, and find your spot by lake OWA as all the ducks are released to race for one of our three (3) grand prizes.
• Following the Race: Winning ducks will be announced.
