DESCRIPTION:Since 1971 each Mother’s Day weekend\, join us at “Art in the Park”\, a competitive juried fine arts show for artists and craftsmen from across the southeast. This event is held each spring on the lawn of the John B. Foley Park in downtown Foley and has grown to attract thousands of attendees. Over 100 artists showcase their talents while providing unique\, hand crafted cultural experiences and shopping opportunities. \nThe Foley Art Center has been in Foley since 1966 providing cultural enrichment programs to our local schools and community. As a non-profit community organization\, our mission is to bring art to our community. All donations are tax-deductible. Our gallery features the work of many artists and craftsmen who live throughout the Southeast. All of our artwork is for sale on consignment. We offer a large selection of gifts\, including original paintings\, handmade pottery & textiles\, photography\, glass & porcelain sculptures\, handmade jewelry\, wood carvings\, and more.
