SUMMARY:Creek Crawl
DESCRIPTION:Crawl\, Climb and Run through 400 acres of trails on this 4 mile Obstacle Race! Don’t be afraid of getting a little muddy! The race will be a challenge with 20 obstacles and be limited to ages 10 and up. Runners will receive water\, a beer if over 21 with an approved ID\, and a meal post race as the DJ plays music. Awards will be given for top three male and female runners. All proceeds benefit the educational programs at Graham Creek Nature Preserve. \nRace Course: 4 Miles race course with at least 20 obstacles to test agility\, strength\, and endurance. Run\, jump\, and crawl your way through miles of rugged terrain\, mud\, and surprise obstacles along the way. There is a 25 yard water (with varying depths) obstacle at the end of the course. Runners may bypass the water and run an additional HALF MILE of course. Participants must be 10 years old or older on race day. \nEvent details and schedule:\nCreek Crawl 2026 is on May 9th. \nPacket pickup with bibs and shirts at Graham Creek Interpretive Center\, 23030 Wolf Bay Drive\, Foley on May 8th\, Friday 3:00 – 6:00 PM. Packets will also be available at the site (outdoor pavillion) the morning of the race starting at 7:00 AM. We highly recommend you pickup your packet on Friday to avoid any delays on race morning. \nRaces will begin at 8:10 AM with the Elite Heat for serious racers Max 50 Participants in this heat (must pick up packet Friday the 8th of May). Heats will be every 10 minutes with up to 50 racers per heat. You must run in the heat your registered for! Water stations will be located at 2 places along course. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your heat start time race for instructions and chip pick up. Be prepared to get wet and muddy! Outside showers are available as well as hoses for cleanup. \nParking is free. Food and drink ticket will be redeemable starting at 9:00 am. Awards will begin around 10:00 am. No outside alcohol is permitted in the park. Lockers are not available.
