Whether you are an art lover, a foodie, or you just enjoy the outdoors, Foley’s Art in the Park is the place to be on Mother’s Day weekend, May 7-8.
The juried fine arts show features more than 100 artists from across the Southeast showing their wares: watercolors, glass, pottery, woodwork, iron sculptures, jewelry, handmade children’s clothing and more.
Discover wonderful items in the booths of these artists and craftsmen, including a youth art display. There’s plenty of shade to keep you cool and live music to keep you energized, and the lovely setting in the park provides a great backdrop.
Bring your appetite, too, because all the festival favorites will be available, including BBQ, hamburgers, shrimp salad wraps, homemade ice cream and plenty more sweet treats!
Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at John B. Foley Park in downtown Foley.
This is the 44th year for the free event, put on by the Foley Performing Arts Association. The fest promotes the arts by raising funds for college scholarships for artistic students and bringing works of renowned artists to the community.
Art in the Park is a great way to spend Mother’s Day weekend, so come on out and enjoy beautiful works in a great setting!
