Looking to plan a trip for your spring break? Spring is a wonderful time to visit Foley, Alabama, a Main Street Alabama community. With an abundance of walkable shopping and a tempting variety of food, plus spring sports and planned activities, you won’t have a chance to get bored spending a week or longer with us.

If golf is your game, GlenLakes Golf Course in Foley is offering a selection of activities to join in on this spring. Grab a smoothie from Kale Yeah! Juice Café (just south of the Hwy. 59/Hwy. 98 intersection) to get a fresh boost of tasty nutrition, then head to the Sunday Couple Scrambles happening every week, weather permitting, or the Ladies Golf Clinic on Tuesday.

Have some extra reading materials lying around? Trade your books at the Foley Book Exchange located in the walkable downtown area. Break out your new tome at one of Foley’s local coffee shops. Whether you like your coffee hot, iced, sweet or plain, there’s a brew for you at The Drowsy Poet and Gypsy Queen Java. Or order your coffee to go, then sip it while reading in the beautiful outdoors at Centennial Park.

Feeling a little hungry after all that fun you’ve been having? Enjoy an evening meal in the covered courtyard at Mamma Mia’s. The back-porch atmosphere is open and breezy with a scattering of rosemary plants releasing their scent through the air. Their selection of ciders is hard to resist, as they perfectly accompany the specialty and gourmet pizza pies (gluten free is available) and pasta dishes.

Several outdoor festivals are hosted here, including the Foley BBQ & Blues Cook-off on March 16 and the Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival on May 3 and 4. Both will certainly be a lot of fun!

No matter when your spring break falls, we hope you spend it with us in Foley, Alabama.
