Our haunted forest will take you through twenty minutes of horror. Aboard the ride to the other side being ferried by the harbinger of death. Walk 1/3 mile through the forest to escape the apocalypse and your greatest fears. \nEvent shirts will be available for purchase. Participants must be able to board a wagon to the entrance and then walk the trail and boardwalk. Wheelchairs must contact the site for accommodations to the entrance. SUMMARY:Annual Big Rigs at the Library
DESCRIPTION:Children will again have a chance to have hands-on experiences with large trucks and other equipment during the Foley Community Library’s Third-Annual Big Rigs at the Library: A Touch-a-Truck Event. \nThe family-friendly celebration will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.\, Saturday\, Oct. 17 on the lawn of the Foley Recreation Department’s Activity Center behind City Hall. The center at 315 E. Jessamine Ave. is in the former location of the Foley National Guard armory. \nChildren can get up close and personal with a variety of vehicles and equipment\, including tractors\, backhoes\, bucket trucks and other rigs. The hands-on experience gives children a chance to see the machines up close and discover how they are used in the community. \nVehicles and equipment from the Foley Fire Department\, Police Department\, Public Works Department and Street Department will be among the rigs available for the experience. \nAdmission is free. No registration is required. Anyone wanting more information can contact the Foley Community Library at 251-943-7665 or visit the library’s website and social media pages.
